Road Respect Tour and a Local Shop Done Good

UDOT has just launched their new Road Respect Campaign. The campaign seeks to educate both drivers and cyclists on the rules of the road. In comment after comment the citizens of Provo have wanted to see some form of education take place, and (while not perfect) this is a great starting point. As part of the launch they will be doing a tour, on bicycles, across Utah. They will be stoping in key places including our very own wonderful city (more details to come). You will also start seeing billboards, commercials, radio spots, etc. We highly recommend liking them on Facebook and letting your cycling and non-cycling friends know about this campaign. The more who know the better and safer our roads can become.

MadDog Cycles is doing a ton of work with UTDOT on this project. They were on Channel 13 today with UDOT talking about the ride and about safety. They also got the anchors on some Big Wheels and had a race around the studio. A big thanks to MadDog for all they are doing for safe cycling in Provo. Enjoy.
