There’s still time to register for tomorrow’s Tour de Habitat Ride, benefiting our local Habitat for Humanity. You can choose from a 20-mile lake route, a ride up the canyon, or a fun family roll down the parade route.
Here are the details:
“Sponsored by Orem City, Harmon’s, Mad Dog Cycles, Power Bar, Bikewagon.com, The Barefoot Group, Check City, KSL-TV and the Orem Owlz, the Third Annual Tour de Habitat Bike Ride will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2011 to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Utah County’s affordable housing program. Rides are available for all skill levels.
…For families with children, ride the Summerfest Parade Route together as part pre-parade activities. Be extra festive and decorate your bike (not required)! Those participating will receive reserved seating for parade viewing along the parade route.”
Riders receive all sorts of goodies including t-shirt, water and snacks, tickets to an upcoming Owlz game.
